Profile
I have extensive experience teaching languages in different settings. I lived 10 years in the United Kingdom, London where I taught secondary students Spanish and French but also was in charge of English club where I taught English as an additional language to pupils who spoke barely English. I moved to Abu Dhabi and worked at Al Bateen Secondary School where I taught French and Spanish and was in charge of a support club for English.
From August 2014 to August 2016, I worked in the British School Al Khubairat as a Senior Spanish teacher from Years 7-Year 13, responsible for GCSE and A level provision and taught French to year 9, 11 and 13. In 2015, I had the chance to teach primary French and English language as a second language language to primary children and enjoyed this new challenge. I enjoyed teaching English as a second language and would like to further my experience in that field. I have excellent classroom management skills and I am well organized. I encourage independent learning using a variety of resources to make my lessons interactive.
I am currently living in Guanzghou with my wife who is working at Garden International School as a kindergarten teacher and I am learning Chinese Mandarin.
