Hangzhou Expat

April 2004, Joseph Tsu established the website of hangzhouexpat.com with technical support from Mr. John Lee and a lot of help from his Friend, Mr. Ken Briggs. By August 2004, there have been more than 4,000 foreign residents in Hangzhou according to the data from the Provincial Government, and the number is increasing day by day. For such a big expats community, a place online for them to meet and communicate is very important. That's why this online community in Hangzhou came into being.

At the end of 2004, there was a quite exciting discussion among Joseph Tsu, Mr. John Lee and Ms. Lois Her, and they decided to make up a team, to make it a more useful website with more information for your daily life.

2005, More Hangzhou, monthly entertainment guide for expatriates and overseas tourists in Hangzhou started publication. Thanks a lot for their efforts to support us in that year.

Pipi joined the forum in May, 2005. With the help from Joseph and many forum members, she got involved as a moderator and then partnerships with Joseph to service this community up until now.
